Food Percentage of DRI per 100 grams

You’ll find saffron in the form of powder or threads. 

The threads need heat in order to activate their flavor and color. 

I recommend to steep the saffron threads in a bit of liquid for at least 30 minutes before adding it to the recipe (towards the end of cooking).
